The Power of Plants

Enriching Lives One Leaf at a Time

Welcome to a new season of growth, learning, and connection with our garden club. Whether you’re a longtime member or a new face, I’m so glad you’re here to share in our love of gardening and floral design.

As we look ahead, I want to reflect on a few values that shape our work together. Thoughtful design, both in our gardens and in our floral arrangement transforms spaces and events into something extraordinary. Whether it’s creating a garden that tells a story or arranging flowers that captivate the eye, design is at the heart of our work.

Equally important is our commitment to sustainability. As gardeners, we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to care for the earth. From composting and conserving water to avoiding harmful chemicals, our choices make a difference.

One of the best ways we can support local ecosystems is by planting native species. Native plants are not only beautiful but are essential to preserving the natural balance of our region, supporting wildlife, and reducing maintenance needs.

And finally, at the heart of everything we do is friendship and support. Gardening and floral design are much more enjoyable when shared with others. Here, we learn from one another, lift each other up, and grow stronger together. The sense of community here is what makes this club truly special. Thank you for being a part of it. Here’s to another year of blooming, creating, and growing together.

Warmly,

Elizabeth Sullivan President 2025-2026
