A creative design having dominant cylindrical forms throughout, composed of any material. Plant material and other optional components complete the design. Space: 30 x 30

Design Tips:

It doesn’t matter if a large tube, or multiple smaller tubes are used, as long as the tubular form dominates. Typically, non-plant material, such a PVC pipes, and metal tubing are used as the tubular part. Visit our local improvement stores for ideas. See Handbook for Flower Shows, page 77, and Designing by Types, pages 170-172.

Section B. NJSA: “Everything but the Kitchen Sink” Assemblage Design

A three-dimensional abstract creative design, consisting of “found” unrelated objects and plant material. Space 30 x 30

Design Tips:

“Found objects” are non-art objects, not objects that have been manufactured for decorative purposes, such as figurines, sculptures, etc. See Handbook for Flower Shows page 77, and Designing by Types, pages 31-33.
