DIVISION I: HORTICULTURE

Entries must be staged in green bottles of appropriate size, unless otherwise stated. If needed, wedging material must be bubble wrap and must not be visible above the top of the bottle.

Section A. Broadleaf Evergreen Tree or Shrub Branches: Flowering specimen (Unless otherwise noted: 10” minimum, 30” maximum. For dwarf varieties: 4”minimum, 12” maximum)

Section I. Collection: A group of five different cut and named specimens that have a common characteristic, displayed in individual green glass containers. To be judged for cultural perfection.

DIVISION II: DESIGN
Section A. Open: “Magical Mix” American Traditional Mass Design

A design adapted from European designs. Space: 30” x 30”.

Design Tips: Large quantities of plant material should be used with a closed silhouette. Plant material is integrated and not grouped. The design conforms to American Traditional characteristics. See Handbook for Flower Shows, pages 70-71.

Section B: NJSAJ: “Asian Fusion” Creative Line Design in the Oriental Manner

A Creative Design where the line is dominant with a minimum of plant material and other optional components. Space: 30” x 30”.

Design Tip: The line may be straight, curved or a combination. There may be one or more points of emergence and focal areas. See Handbook for Flower Shows, page 74 and Designing by Types, page 162.
